Titanic Studios: A World-Renowned Film Production Hub
Belfast’s Titanic Studios has become a sought-after destination for filmmakers worldwide, offering a unique blend of history, cutting-edge facilities, and a prime location. Comprised of the original Paint Hall studio and two purpose-built sound stages, the Hurst and MacQuitty stages, Titanic Studios has been the backbone of numerous high-profile productions.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, interest in the virtual tour of the studio has skyrocketed, with over 229,000 views since early 2020, averaging approximately 19,000 views per month. These tours have been instrumental in allowing filmmakers and producers from around the globe to explore the facility and visualize their projects coming to life within its walls.
The Paint Hall, once a climate-controlled space where ship components were painted, now serves as a fully functional film studio complete with lighting and rigging. Meanwhile, the Hurst and MacQuitty stages provide versatile, free-span spaces that can be combined for larger-scale productions.
In working closely with the Titanic Studios team, we’ve helped to showcase the studio’s impressive facilities to a broad audience, attracting the attention of major players in the film industry and cementing Titanic Studios as a world-class production hub.
We have plans to turn this into a custom virtual tour and to create something truly fantastic that Screen NI and the Titanic Studio team can really stand behind and be proud of.
